Southwood Tree is owned and operated by Peter Hrobsky, a Forestry Technician and Urban Forestry Arboriculture graduate from Algonquin College.
Peter has a strong background in forestry and tree care, with formal training in tree biology, tree identification, forest management, and safe arboriculture practices. His forestry education gives him a deeper understanding of trees and tree health, providing knowledge that goes beyond what many arborists learn through experience alone.
Peter’s passion for working with wood and trees began at a young age. At just 12 years old, he started his own firewood business, gaining early hands-on experience cutting, processing, and working safely with wood.
Today, Peter uses both his education and real-world experience to provide safe, reliable, and professional tree services. His goal is to help homeowners keep their properties safe, clean, and looking their best.
