Southwood Tree is owned and operated by Peter Hrobsky, a certified arborist and Forest Technician graduate from Algonquin College. Peter's passion for trees, forestry, and the outdoors began at a young age. Growing up, he spent countless hours exploring the wilderness and developing a strong appreciation for the natural environment.
At just 12 years old, Peter started his first firewood business, laying the foundation for what would become a lifelong career in the tree care industry. Over the years, that early entrepreneurial spirit evolved into a deep commitment to professional arboriculture, forestry, and safe tree care practices.
With a combination of formal education, hands-on experience, and a strong forestry background, Peter brings extensive knowledge to every project. His expertise includes hazardous tree removals, tree pruning, storm damage response, lot clearing, and overall tree health and risk assessment.
